"A change in Seasons," Romantic Comedy  with Jacqueline Bisset about an artist living on a Greek island trying to find herself and take care of her world.

Greece:  A Love Story."  Women write about the Greek experience. We all read this and passed this around and couldn't get enough of it- wonderful!  Camille Cusamano

"Her Kind"  Stories of women from Greek Mythology as retold from the feminine perspective. Very moving and painful.  Jane Cahill

"A Lone Red Apple," by Aurelia.  This is a horribly written book but perfectly describes Mykonos! It is an easy read and worth it for the flavor and some steamy love scenes. It is silly and fun!

"The Eternal Drama,"  The inner meaning of Greek Mythology by Edward Edinger.

"The Colossus of Maroussi" by Henry Miller. I haven't read it yet, but intend to for this  year!

"Zorba the Greek," by Nikos Kazantzakis. Haven't read this one either or even seen the movie! But hope to do both this year!

There are a million great books out there on Greek History and Greek Mythology So take an artist date and make your favorite bookstore your destination! if you don’t' have time or the inclination- don't worry yrou retreat Handbooks will have plenty of History, Locale info, and mythology! You will also get plenty of mythology form our guides. So read everything you can get your hands on, or read nothing!
